A free public lecture on the life and impact of Thomas Cranmer, presented by Dr Mark Earngey and Mosman Village Church
You are kindly invited to meet and hear Dr Mark Earngey—a former parishioner of this church—speaking on the importance of Thomas Cranmer, who was the first protestant Archbishop of Canterbury 500 years ago. He bequeathed what we know as Anglicanism to the world. This talk aims to explore the development of his thoughts and draw out implications for church life today.

About the speaker
Dr Mark Earngey is Head of Church History and Lecturer in Christian Thought at Moore Theological College, Sydney. Mark also serves as the executive editor of the Australian Church Record. We are very fortunate that he has come back home to Mosman to speak to us and answer our questions on this important topic in our history as well as on Cranmer’s impact on Christianity today.
