This year’s 2023 Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 5 March at 11:30am in the main church building. This is an important meeting and you are warmly encouraged to attend. It is a meeting where:

• The Senior Minister presents an annual review and ministry update

• The Wardens present a property and financial update

• The Budget for 2023 is accepted

• Parishioners need to elect 2 Wardens. They also need to decide on the size of the incoming Parish Council which could be 0, 3, 6 or 9. For the last few years we have had 3 elected Parish Council members. The Rector then nominates 1 Warden & 1 Parish Council member for every 3 elected

• Parishioners elect their peers to take up the role of Wardens and Parish Council members

• Synod Representatives are elected every 3 years

• Parishioners can ask the incoming Parish Council to consider any matter that is raised in the meeting and supported by the majority

• Nomination forms are available at the back of the church before and after each Sunday service
